So Much...

This weekend was Canadian Thanksgiving. We've been counting our blessings and enjoying a lazy weekend at home. There's SO MUCH to be thankful for.




Today is Howard's birthday. This picture was taken a few years ago when he turned fifty. For half of our married life, he has dealt with a chronic health condition. At one time he was so sick that he didn't think he'd see forty, never mind fifty. And here he is even older than that. I'm glad.




While looking for our December 2010 family picture - which I couldn't find - I found this one taken on Howard's fiftieth. Not only do we have three wonderful children, we think our son-in-law is pretty special too. Life is about relationships. What a gift to have these special people in my life.

    Happy Thanksgiving! You look adorable in that close up. It's always wonderful to see long married couples still looking cute and happy. I hope there are many happy birthdays to come.
