I have several that have served in the armed forces of the U.S.A. I may have others that served in the Old Country (England, Germany, Czechoslovakia, and France).
My maternal grandfather served in WWI and was posted in Washington, D.C. My mother was born during the time they lived there.
We are so fortunate that men and women have served to protect the freedom’s we hold dear. Whether we celebrate Veterans Day, Remembrance Day or Armistice Day, we are all celebrating our ancestors and the service they gave to our countries.
